Thank you from the Fultons

Jack Fulton's son and Tigers Vice Chairman Ian Fulton has been in touch with a message for you all:

"On behalf of my mum, myself and our family I would like to thank everybody who has offered their kind thoughts and condolences following the passing of my dad. The support that has been shown is overwhelming and humbling. Dad, as a lot of you will know, never really liked being in the limelight and would be deeply touched,

"Dad bore his illness with great dignity, over many months he didn't complain, he just tried to get on with life the best he could,

"His loves we're firstly his family ,who he always put first, horse racing which he usually came second and Castleford. Castleford and Rugby League gave dad huge amounts of pleasure over the years, especially the success as a club we have enjoyed over the last two years,

"On a personnel note it was one of the proudest days of my life to walk my dad out at Wembley for the Challenge Cup Final last year, and I know he was immensely proud. It wasn't just about the rugby with dad it was more about the people who dad and mum met and became friends with. Dad knew what the club meant to the people of Castleford and this more than anything else drove him to ensure that the club survived and prospered,

"It is with great sadness that I write this, but I'm immensely proud that my dad's legacy lives on at Castleford Tigers,

"On behalf of my family I would like to thank everybody for their kind messages and support."
